Web & Interactive Project Manager
Role
At KELLETT, web project managers are both lead consultants and project coordinators. They are responsible for defining solutions, answering hard questions, and ensuring the overall quality of a project. They also handle tasking, budgeting, and day-to-day communication with clients and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing development/upkeep of online properties in a team-based environment;
- Excellent organization and communication skills;
- Can speak the languages of the web (HTML, CSS, JS);
- Strong grasp of Internet trends and emerging technology;
Experience with the following is desirable but not required:
- Experience on the Mac platform;
- Linux server and hosting environments;
- Server-side programming language. Eg. PHP, ASP.NET, JSP;
- Database systems. Eg. SQL, Oracle;
The project manager should also possess the following traits:
- Enjoy working with others in a team atmosphere;
- Prefer a small-business, fast paced working environment; and
- Have a “customer-service” orientation.
Responsibilities
Typically, the project manager will be responsible for:
- Developing estimates, briefs and full proposals
- Liaising with client from initial client meeting through to final product delivery
- Planning and organizing project deliverables
- Producing site architecture, and other requirements documentation
- Assigning tasks to team and monitoring the team to ensure on-time schedule and on-budget delivery
- Managing the quality of finished product.
